Interesting Aspects Of Students Residence Life And Housing

Going to college situated far from your home, you should remember that you are to live in campus. Campus is going to be your home till you study. Coming to a strange place, it is significant to know some rules you are to follow. There is no need to stress that each campus has its own peculiar guidelines for behavior. Thus, there are some general rules which are common for all campuses in different countries. So, welcome to campus!

Specific rules and interesting facts about residence life and housing at colleges

1.You should follow the Code of Student Conduct (existing almost in every educational establishment) and do not violate public law.

2.You should follow the changes that may occur in residence rules. Ignorance of the law is no excuse.

3.The violation of any of the campus rules and obligations may result in disciplinary punishment or even exclusion, if violation is repeated.

4.You are prohibited to have candles and incense.

5.You are not to keep chemicals, explosives, and alcohol.

6.You are not allowed to take your lovely pet.

7.You are forbidden to take your personal lofts and bunk beds (only if you do not have special permission).

8.You may not take a microwave or toaster to your room as well as non-thermostat controlled coffee maker. All those items should be in the kitchen or hall.

Do not forget about your behavior. Living in the residence offered by the college, you are to follow the rules.

1.Do not keep or drink alcohol and do not take drugs on the territory of the residence.

2.Do not block the way to fire safety equipment. Find another place for your educational and personal staff.

3. Cohabitation is not welcomed, mostly.

4.Do not throw different objects from the window.

5.Smoking is also forbidden.

6.Do not be too noisy and do not bother your neighbors.

So, we hope that the enumerated rules will not limit your freedom too much as most of them are ethical and moral rules that show you as well-bred and educated person.
